Hey man you dont remember me but I was in Roy Mcveighs group in Albany and you led several of our retreats. I have always appreciated the time and work that you did with our group. I still remember many of your songs that you led us in. Thanks for all you did. Are you still leading music?
Thanks
Wesley Marshall
Thanks for the kind words, Wesley! I really enjoyed working with your group in Albany, and I thought of all of you last year when Nashville had a devastating flood. We are currently leading CiViL Groups, a character education initiative in an urban public school, and our students worked tirelessly to help others recover after that flood. Unfortunately, I haven’t had nearly enough time for music in the last five years, but I am working on an album. I’m not sure when it will be ready, but stay tuned. I’ll post it on all our web sites (this one, http://www.tyrs.org, and http://www.CiViLGroups.org) when it’s done.

Hi Jim, I remember you when you visited my church in Massachusetts.. East Brookfield Baptist I would say about 15+ years ago. I have been wanting another cd of Long Lonely Night again.. I have finally found you and you only have a cassette tape of it.. Would you have a copy in a cd? I lost my cd in a move.. I appreciate you taking time to read this.. Please let me know about the cd. I am wanting to listen to Christian music but can’t find anything I like up here.. Thanks God Bless Amber Grout
Hi Amber, I compiled three of my cassette-only albums onto one Cd, called “Looking Back.” It contains all the songs from “Long Lonely Night” and “Circle Around the Cross”, as well as most of the songs from “Untitled No. 1″. You can order it from this site. Glad you’re still interested. Blessings, Jim
Dear Jim,
I am from a small church in Chicago and we are producing the play Friends Forever for our church anniversary. I was fortunate enough to find the cast recording on CD but would like to know where I can get the accompaniment tracks on CD. It would really help us with the play. Thanks and God bless.
I wish I had a copy too, Lyann, but I never asked for one years ago when I could have gotten it. I do know one person who might have it. I’ll email him your address to see whether he can make you a copy. I hope he can. I wish I could see your production of our musical. When do you plan to open?
Jim
Thanks for reaching out for the CD. It would be answered prayers if he can help us. We plan to perform it on Nov 19 for our church’s 10th anniversary. Thank you again very much.
Hi Lyann, I have a copy of the Friends…forever Accompaniment CD for you, but I need an address to send it to. Don’t post it here, of course. Send it to me by email. I can put your CD in the mail as soon as I have your address. By the way, should you need one of the writers of the musical to come sing, speak, or just stand around and nod approvingly for a choir retreat or a premier performance, it can be arranged.
Jim
