The Letter

The Letter

I thank God in my prayers for you
As he completes your lives in Christ.
I pray love will abound in you
In wisdom and in deep insight.
And though I am in chains for Christ,
I hope I will not be ashamed.
I pray that I’ll have courage to stand,
For to live is Christ and to die is gain.

CHORUS
But whatever happens, live your life
In a manner worthy of our Christ
Who came to be a servant not a king.
And, though he was the Lord of life,
He made himself a sacrifice.
And therefore God exalted him,
That at his holy name
All tongues will sing.
And though I may have cause to boast,
I count it all as loss for Christ.
I want to share his power and his death,
So that I might know his resurrected life.

CHORUS

BRIDGE:
Rejoice in the Lord always,
And tell him all your needs.
Think of what is noble,
And he will give you peace.
Remember all the things I’ve said
And all you’ve seen me do.
And may the grace of God
Be with you.

CHORUS

TAG: All tongues will sing
Christ is Lord.
